Headliner is our lightweight, fast-absorbing scalp serum. Formulated to soothe discomfort, calm irritation and support a balanced, healthy-feeling scalp, it combines calming actives like Centella Asiatica and bisabolol with the microbiome-supporting power of lactobacillus ferment and a gentle dose of salicylic acid — all without any greasy residue or weigh-down.

Roadie is our soft silicone scalp brush, designed to work alongside Headliner, not just sit next to it. The flexible silicone bristles are firm enough to feel like something's actually happening, but gentle enough for daily use — no scratching, no snagging on hair.

Together, they're more effective than either on its own. Roadie helps work Headliner in evenly across the scalp, while its massage action lifts flaky, dry skin and stimulates blood flow — giving the serum's active ingredients the best possible chance to do their job. It's the extra step that finally gives your scalp the spotlight it deserves.

How to Use:

Headliner: Apply 2–3 droppers full directly onto your scalp and gently massage into the roots until evenly distributed. Use daily or as needed. Can be used on damp or dry hair — style as usual afterwards.

Roadie: Use after applying Headliner to massage it into the scalp — small circular motions or long strokes, whichever feels better for you. Use daily as part of your scalp routine, or whenever you apply Headliner.

Two ways Dr Kara likes to use the bundle:

• For lifting flakiness: The night before you plan to shampoo, apply Headliner to the scalp and massage in well with Roadie. Leave in overnight, then shampoo as normal the next morning. This helps lift flakiness so it can be washed away more easily.
• For prevention: After showering, apply a thin layer of Headliner to your scalp and massage in with Roadie. Then dry and style as usual. This lighter, preventative approach helps keep itch and buildup at bay.

How do I recycle the Headliner packaging?

Always check with your local council! We have chosen a glass bottle for our Headliner product, which can be rinsed and put in most curbside recycling bins. The eye dropper lid is a combination of glass and plastic. The glass component can be removed from the plastic end and also put in most curbside recycling bins. Please check with your council if they will also accept the plastic part of the lid.
